The first step of dealing with unplanned pregnancy is knowing who to talk to. The decision, however- of if you want to continue the pregnancy, or place it for adoption or to buy abortion pills or service for that matter – is completely a personal choice and ultimately depended on you. However, you don’t have to make that decision by yourself. You may want to discuss your feelings or discuss the circumstances with a familiar person who you know will offer unbiased advice and be supportive.

Some women find it helpful to talk with a neutral person for comfort and support during this troubled time. Of course, there is always an option of talking to a professional counselor or at clinic where they have staff specialized to discuss your situation objectively.

What to do when choosing to seek support: -

If you want to speak with a counselor before making a definitive decision, be careful of whom to choose

Some good points to look for in a counselor are –

  • Someone who will not pressure you into any decision

  • Allows you to decide about who can be a part of the decision making process

  • Someone who permits you to bring along a partner, friend, parent, family member (or members) anyone for moral support

  • The counselor should also provide unbiased, reliable and completely medically true facts and information regarding all of your pregnancy options, which are parenthood, adoption or abortion.

If you choose to terminate your pregnancy

In case, abortion is your choice, the counselor is responsible to tell that women, on how she can buy abortion pill safely or to refer her a place where she can seek trustable legal abortive service.
